BESTETTI ASSOCIATI
Gianfranco Bestetti, managing director and founder of Bestetti Associati, started his career more than thirty years ago, forming in contact with the architecture-design environment in Milan during the 80's.
He started his professional career in 1985 as worldwide Store Project Manager for B&B Italia.
By the year 1989 he joined the family business taking charge of architectural branch of national and international projects.
In 1995 he started his collaboration with Boffi Kitchens in quality of Marketing Department Manager. During this period he developed and consolidated Boffi Kitchens image for Flag Ship Stores as well as Pluri Brand Stores, worldwide.
His early growth and development on design, as well as his constant familiarity with some of the most important names for the Italian industry on fashion and forniture, took him to be a recognized professional.
In 2000 he joined Studio Lissoni Associati staff, with whom he collaborated until 2003, after that he created his own Studio with Antonella Terzoli, person in charge of the financial and logistic department.
Always aware to the new trends and style contaminations, he collaborates with the companies that trusted in his work during the years as Poliform where he coordinates architectural image and sales projects from 2005 to 2013.
Bestetti Associati features many worldwide architectural and visual projects for companies such as: Paola Lenti, MDF Italia, Baxter, Molteni & C, Dada, Samsung, Candy Group, Cleaf and Giorgetti.

With white polyester sail, the structure is anways in avorio colour.The sail can be fixed or sliding. In the first case, the sail is divided into four parts (five for the version in polyester fabric only) and is anchored to the structure by means of zippers in a colour matching the colour of the fabric. In the second case, the shading sail is one piece and it is hooked to the structure by means of steel snap hooks connecting it to a sliding mechanism made of a light alloy, which is placed inside the cross beams.

Single-piece sliding sail
STRUCTURE
AISI 304 stainless steel, matt varnished in avorio or grafite basic colours, matt or gloss varnished in the colours in the collection (reference for colours: Mano Lucida wood sample collection). The structure is available:
– With HEA hot dip galvanized steel base for an installation on non-bearing surfaces
– With plates for the installation on bearing surfaces.

SLIDING SAIL IS AVAILABLE
The sliding sail is available in white polyester fabric only; it is assembled and reinforced by means of radial sewing lines that guarantee an excellent resistance with respect to the prevailing direction of the wind load to which the sail will be submitted.

The components of products which are produced in aluminum and steel are treated with a protection process against corrosion and are coated with powder or liquid varnishes which make the surface resistant and suitable also to exterior environments.
MANO LUCIDA
Reference colours for the matt and gloss varnishing.
TAMIL
Composition: 100% polyester
Tamil is a plain fabric for exterior environments developed to cover the Resort and Pavilion shading structures and the Bistrò parasols.
Its solid and shimmering colours have been studied to match the outdoor lacquers in the collection and the corresponding colours of the Madras fabric. Tamil can be used also for the upholstery of the Mira chair and the Portofino seating elements.
