HOLLOWAY RAILINGS
Holloway decorative railings from Zaun are derived from the vertical bar railings family. Holloway Vertical Railings use traditional solid vertical bars and flat horizontal steels to create this attractive new railing system.
Available in heights of 1.0 and 1.2m, this system uses decorative circles welded between the top two horizontal steel sheets, giving a refined and distinctive look and an overall feel of continuation and longevity.
Named after our friend and colleague Paul Holloway, this system further enhances our reputation for expertise in developing leading railing systems to meet the requirements of residential, play, and commercial properties.
Pedestrian and vehicle access solutions are also available to match the railings and are manufactured to the width you require.

METAL RAILING POSTS & FIXINGS
The Holloway metal railing system features a post and stepping cleat configuration, providing a simple and easy installation method. Supplied with Cup Square Bolts & Shear Nuts and installed using either power or hand tools.
METAL RAILING INSTALLED ON SLOPING GROUND
Panels can be stepped as required on the post. For steeper gradients, it is recommended that the stepping cleats are adjusted to suit the gradient as required. Panels can also be sloped to the following gradients, within the tolerance of the post section : 0 to 16mm / 56mm / 56 to 72mm
METAL RAILING VARIATIONS
Posts are available in different lengths to accommodate panel heights and ground conditions. Additional variations are also available: Wall fixing, cranked posts or base plated. Bespoke panels can be manufactured to be raked and radiused.
MATCHING DECORATIVE RAILINGS GATES
Pedestrian gates are single leaf 1.2m wide (or width to suit). Framed in a 100mm x 50mm RHS with Vertical railings welded onto the frame, with slide latch. Each gate features a rubber bump stop and 2 x suitable gate posts.
Vehicle access gates are double leaf (single leaf vehicle gates available) 3.0m wide (or width to suit). Framed in 100mm x 50mm RHS, with Zaun Vertical railings welded onto the frame, with drop bolts and slide latch. Each vehicle Gate features a rubber bump stop and 2 x suitable gate posts.
FINISH
All Zaun posts/panels/gates and painted auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.) benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS1722 p16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and paint layers.
In a UK C1 environment, as defined in ISO 12944 p2, this should ensure a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to reduce the effect on useful life.
Enhanced painting systems such as marine coatings are also available for improved life expectancy in C2-C5M environments.
