DETAIL
FIRST TREATMENT
After removing the protective cotton cloth or wadding from the tile, if, while washing the grout, the wax layer deteriorated, apply another layer of matt wax, such as FILA Matt* wax (50% wax and 50% water) using a microfibre cloth or a short-nap paint roller.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Variations in size and colour fall within the tolerance limits of a production process that includes several manual processes, and are, therefore, considered distinctive product features. Please be aware that entirely handmade cement tiles are not subject to regulations for industrial wall tiles or CE marking. Even though it is not mandatory, Bisazza has subjected the collection to the standard tests applied to industrial concrete tiles to highlight the aesthetic and functional features of the product.
ROUTINE CLEANING
Clean the tile on a regular basis using water and a low-residue neutral detergent (FILA Cleaner Pro* or other specific cleaners for marble or stone), then rinse thoroughly. DO NOT use harsh detergents, like ammonia, bleach, limescale removers, alcohol and products with pH higher than 8.0.
SPECIAL MAINTENANCE
Use a microfibre cloth or short-nap paint roller to apply a coat of diluted (50% water) FILA Matt* finishing wax to the clean, dry floor. The wax treatment frequency of application depends on the amount of foot traffic: it will be more frequent for commercial spaces and less frequent for residential rooms. If it becomes necessary to remove the protective wax due to stains, we recommend washing with FILA PS87 Pro* diluted 50% with water, using white felt pads. Then, once the floor is dry, reapply a layer of FILA Matt* wax diluted 50% with water.
STRENGTHS
- Entirely handmade, each tile is unique and unrepeatable.
- Wide range of colours and graphic patterns.
- Vivid colours thanks to the purity of the raw materials used.
- Ease of cleaning of the finished surface thanks to pre-treatment carried out during production.
- Possibility to customise the colours of the decorations, choosing from the range of 29 solid colours in the monochrome range.
- Possibility to create customised decorations upon request, developed by the Bisazza Design Studio.
- Compatibility with the Bisazza collection of Wood parquet floors, both in size and thickness. We highly recommend proper preparation of the surface for any differences in thickness between the various materials, and to check compatibility with the other adhesives used for installation.
