SUPERFICIAL CRACKS – NO PERFORMANCE IMPACT
NB. The Wessex interlocking tile may exhibit superficial, non-continuous cracks on the interlocking channels, as a result of the manufacturing process. These do not affect the long term performance and durability of the Wessex interlocking tile.
The products are CE Marked and conform in all respects to the requirements of BS EN 490 ‘Concrete roofing tiles and fittings for roof covering and wall cladding — Product specifications’, when tested in accordance with BS EN 491 ‘Concrete roofing tiles and fittings for roof covering and wall cladding – Test methods’, including transverse strength, water impermeability and freeze/thaw cycles.
