AIRFLOOR® SLAB
AIRFLOOR® SLAB
The self-supporting composite slab Airfloor® is the lightest available on the market, patented by Tecnostrutture. It contributes to thermal insulation, is fast to install and fits all floor spans thanks to the three sub-multiples in width derived from the 1200 mm base module.
The Airfloor® panel arrives at the construction site ready to be installed and can be walked on immediately without the need for any counter work. The standard slab is available with two heights: 200 and 240 mm; in both cases the structural section is completed on site with a concrete topping of at least 60 mm.
INFORMATION
REFERENCES
Over the last few years, the Airfloor® slab, has found extensive use in numerous projects, from residential buildings to accommodation facilities and even elevations. The reason? Its lightness and speed of installation have ensured its success, fitting effectively into all slab spans and arriving on site ready for installation. In addition, the general designer can count on Tecnostrutture’s engineering support for a more efficient and easier realisation.
ACCESSORIES
Airfloor® can be supplied with hanger rods to be placed before the concrete topping is cast. This solution creates a solid and certified fastening within the load-bearing structure for the subsequent fastening of secondary structures such as false ceilings and/or installations. On request, the reinforcements for the negative moment and orthogonal connection to the slab to be placed at site are also supplied.
ASSEMBLY
Over the last few years, the Airfloor® slab, has found extensive use in numerous projects, from residential buildings to accommodation facilities and even elevations.

CERTIFICATIONS AND AUTHORISATIONS
The Airfloor has a composite steel-concrete section calculated in accordance with Eurocode 4. Its qualification follows the same procedures provided for construction products for structural use, as indicated in §11 of the current Italian NTC 2018.As with all lightweight slabs, crucial aspects such as sound insulation and fire resistance have been thoroughly and positively tested over the years. To confirm this, tests have been performed at accredited laboratories, according to EN ISO 10140 (sound insulation) and EN 1363 / EN 1365 (fire resistance).
