Sillon means “groove” in French — is a modular cork panel designed to create seamless, large-scale acoustic walls.
Inspired by architectural repetition, each tile can be rotated on any of its four sides, allowing architects and designers to generate varied patterns, shifting perspectives and elegant continuity.
The subtle grooves disappear into the overall composition, giving the wall a fluid, sculptural presence.

ALAIN GILLES
After studying Political Sciences and Marketing Management, Alain Gilles went on to work in the international financial world for 5 years.
After studying Political Science and Marketing Management, Alain Gilles spent five years in the international financial sector before deciding to pursue his true passion: design.
In 2007 he founded his own studio in Brussels, where he creates furniture, objects and interior concepts that combine function with narrative, rigor with expressiveness. His work has since been recognized internationally for its originality and conceptual depth.
For Greenmood, Gilles designed the Cork Tiles collection (Parenthese, Sillon, Brickx and Morse), reflecting his interest in natural and sustainable materials. These pieces translate his talent for rhythm, contrast and perspective into modular surfaces that are both graphic and biophilic.
In 2012, he was named “Designer of the Year” at the prestigious Interieur Kortrijk Fair, confirming his position as a leading figure on the global design scene.
