NPS® BASIC BEAM
The NPS® Basic steel truss beams are characterized by a compact slim-floor section – possible also with downstanding.
They can be combined with all types of slabs and are ideal for spans up to 12 metres. Also suitable for larger spans depending on the required loads and geometry.

- Since 1983, NPS® beams have been successfully used in thousands of projects, from residential buildings to schools, from car parks to infrastructure.
- The reason? Structures with integrated fire and earthquake resistance, speed and high construction flexibility. In addition, the general designer can count on Tecnostrutture’s engineering support for more efficient and simpler construction.
ASSEMBLY
An NPS® beam is assembled in just five minutes, with the intervention of just three operators. No shoring is normally required. Immediately after casting, the subsequent construction operations continue, without having to wait 28 days for the concrete casting to cure. A fast and efficient solution, ideal for speeding up construction time.
SUSTAINABILITY
- Up to 93% recycled steel, EPD certified.
- NPS® beams support obtaining credits for sustainability certifications such as LEED and DGNB.
- NPS® Basic beams are made from up to 93% recycled steel for more than 84% of their weight, as certified by the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) issued by a third party.
- This declaration is based on life cycle analysis (LCA), calculated per kg of beam, providing transparency on the environmental impact of the product.
ACCESSORIES
- NPS® Safety is a fall protection system integrated into the NPS® beams.
- The NPS® beams can be supplied with integrated support for fall protection on request. This allows the parapet to be fixed to the ground, ensuring safe and fast installation.
THE NPS® SYSTEM LIFE CYCLE
NPS® System contributes to reducing environmental impact throughout the life cycle and to obtaining LEED and DGNB credits. Produced in the factory, the elements are assembled on site in total self-supporting manner, eliminating the need for temporary formwork and shoring, thus speeding up construction time. After concrete casting, NPS® results in a composite structure with characteristics that comply with the performance levels required by the Eurocodes and Italian NTC 2018.
PERFORMANCE SLIM-SYSTEM
NPS® New Performance Slim-System is a complete and flexible modular system developed by Tecnostrutture. It consists of composite steel-concrete beams and columns, made from up to 93% recycled steel and equipped with an Environmental Product Declaration based on Life Cycle Assessment per kg of product.
