INFORMATION

PIPE

The pipes and fittings that compose the niron range are manufactured using random copolymer polypropylene (ppr80 and pprct), a plastic material with a special molecular structure ensuring high mechanical resistance and duration, even at high temperatures and pressures. The properties and other features of the various components make the niron system a valid alternative to traditional material used in plumbing installations.

INSTALLATIONS

Use of niron in substitution to metal installations for the distribution of hot water allows two distinct types of energy saving to be achieved by users.Niron can be used in a pseudo static situation (bathtub or shower and washing machine using hot water) or in a transitory situation (washing of hands or small objects).

In the first case, the lower thermal loss of the material reduces passive heat loss by around 20% for a non-insulated pipe or, at the same loss rate, it reduces the insulating material thickness by around 15%. In the second case, lower thermal conductivity allows water supply which is sufficiently hot even when the pipe has not reached the working temperature. In this case, the energy saving related to NIRON pipes is higher than 10% with peaks up to 20%.
