It is a thermoplastic piping system reinforced with Polyester fibres. It is non hydroscopic, biocompatible and 100% recyclable.

THE PIPE
The SMARTlpg pipe has an inner layer made of a special Polyamide resistant to LPG, an intermediate reinforcing layer made of closed frame Polyester fibre and an external PE100RC (rock pipe) layer that is resistant to crack and point loading. The construction and design characteristics of the pipe guarantee the following performance :

- Durability for over 25 years
- Resistance to the transported fluid
- Bursting pressure > 200 bars (2900 psi)
THE FITTINGS
The SMARTlpg fitting range includes Chrome-Molibdene 4 steel alloy fittings made up of a terminating fitting and a crimping bush. They have a resilience to low working temperatures higher than 27 Joules. Flanged fittings and male threaded termination fittings are available with the following thread types :
- NPT conic gas threaded
- BSPT conic gas threaded
- BSPP cilindric gas threaded and conical ogive with 60° gas tightness
- Threaded flanges for flanged connections (EN1092-1) and fittings with stub end and flange with crimping bush are also available.
