Most Glulam projects tend to be manufactured from Spruce. We have found that some projects require a different species whether for the final appearance or for an external solution. Not only can we supply your project in Spruce but also Larch, Oak, Beech, Ash, Chestnut, Red Cedar. If you have another preference we can most likely supply it.
TREATMENTS
Our range of glulam products can be treated as following.
- Class 1 : insecticidal and anti-blue stain treatment, water repellent
- Class 2 : insecticidal, fungicidal et anti-termites treatment
- Class 3 : (red pine only) high pressure treatment against insects, fungi and termites (class 4 prior to gluing)
- Larch without sapwood is naturally class3.
- Wood treatment choice should be made according to regional requirements and environmental risk factors.
