CASAFLEX STRUCTURE

Local and district heating pipe with stainless steel inner pipe

The spiral-corrugated stainless steel inner pipe offers exceptional stability and enables direct routing through foundations right up to the transfer station. CASAFLEX is designed to withstand even the most demanding installation environments – from tight urban corridors to sensitive natural landscapes.

Thanks to its spiral corrugation, the inner pipe offers excellent ventilation capability and outstanding resistance to internal deposits. This ensures clean and efficient operation over long distances and varying conditions.

Another equipment feature that sets casaflex apart from conventional systems is its integrated monitoring capability via dedicated monitoring wires.

Combined with its ability to handle higher pressure and temperature loads, this makes casaflex a standout solution for modern heat distribution systems, giving operators more control and peace of mind.

Casaflex can also be seamlessly integrated into existing plastic-jacket pipe networks e.G. Premant, making it a highly versatile option for both new installations and retrofit projects.

TECHNICAL DETAIL

ASSEMBLY EFFICIENCY AND OPERATING RELIABILITY

As casaflex is supplied on drums, it can be unrolled and laid directly on site in the required length. The connection technology with pressure-tight and tested components enables safe and time-saving installation on site.

FLEXIBLE SYSTEM DESIGN & COMPONENT VARIETY

Casaflex has a modular design and offers a high level of connection compatibility thanks to its extensive range of accessories - e.G. Weld-free connection joints, wall ducts, wall sealing rings, etc. The system components are matched to all dimensions.

LOGISTICS & DELIVERY

Casaflex is supplied in endless lengths on drums, which minimises connections and significantly reduces installation times. It is supplied pre-assembled for specific projects so that adjustments can be made efficiently on site. Thanks to the low weight and high flexibility of the cable, even larger dimensions can be easily transported and laid - ideal for inner-city construction sites or terrain that is difficult to access.

ENVIRONMENTAL & RESOURCE-SAVING RESULTS

The compact routing due to small bending radii and the elimination of compensation components enable a reduced depth of intervention and lower material usage in civil engineering. This saves resources and has a positive effect on the environmental balance of the overall project.

CASAFLEX AS A HOUSE CONNECTION PIPE

-As a house connection pipe, casaflex offers a reliable solution for the direct connection of buildings to local or district heating networks. At the transition from the main pipe to the building, the system impresses with its easy-to-install design. -As it is supplied on rings from the factory, the pipe can be laid directly to the transfer station - even through foundation ducts. The small number of connection points increases operational reliability and significantly reduces installation costs.

COMPATIBILITY & INTEGRATION INTO EXISTING PLASTIC CASING PIPE NETWORKS

Casaflex is not only suitable for new projects, but also ideal for integration into existing local or district heating networks. The system is fully compatible with common plastic casing pipe systems such as premant and can be flexibly adapted using a variety of connection and transition solutions. Whether as a replacement pipe as part of a network renovation or as an extension to existing structures - casaflex enables a seamless connection with minimum effort.

CASAFLEX AS A DISTRICT HEATING PIPE

The casaflex district heating pipe is impressive due to its suitability for large-scale, underground energy distribution. Casaflex is ideal for large-scale supply networks with long routes thanks to its temperature and pressure stability up to 150 °c and 25 bar. The robust stainless steel inner pipe in combination with efficient thermal insulation minimises heat loss over long distances.

DISTRICT HEATING - CASAFLEX PIPE FOR CENTRALISED HEAT SUPPLY

-District heating utilises industrial waste heat or energy from central heating plants to transport thermal energy to buildings via insulated pipelines. This principle enables centralised, resource-saving energy distribution with high system efficiency.

-The flexible stainless steel pipe system casaflex is the ideal solution, especially when expanding the network or modernising existing infrastructures - thanks to its ease of installation, high temperature and pressure resistance and integrated monitoring capability.

THERMAL EXPANSION & COMPENSATION WITH CASAFLEX

-The thermal expansion of pipework at high operating temperatures places special demands on the material and system design. Casaflex addresses this problem with a self-compensating structure: the spirally corrugated stainless steel pipe flexibly absorbs linear expansion due to its structure.

-This eliminates the need for external expansion joints or additional expansion bends in large parts of the installation. This saves space, reduces installation time and increases operational safety.

CASAFLEX AS A LOCAL HEATING PIPE

-As a local heating pipe, casaflex is ideal for short to medium-distance connections within local supply networks. Casaflex scores particularly highly in the local heating sector due to its high flexibility. The design of the system makes it comparatively easy to integrate numerous connection points, even in confined spaces - with consistently high tightness and operational reliability.

-The small bending radius allows quick, material-saving installation in densely populated areas. The system also shortens construction times and minimises interference with existing infrastructure thanks to reduced trench widths.
