OCCUPANCY SENSORS
-Millimeter-wave radar sensors immediately detect when someone enters or leaves the pod, allowing lighting and ventilation to adjust accordingly. -And side-mounted occupancy lights show at a glance whether the pod is free, in use, or if a meeting is starting soon.
TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY DETECTION
Sensors inside the pod recognize the temperature and humidity of the office environment – and automatically optimize the airflow accordingly.
MEASURING SOUNDPROOFING
-ISO 23351-1 is the international classification system for measuring the level of sound insulation in office pods. This system was designed to produce a single figure to describe the degree of speech privacy provided called speech level reduction (DS,A [dB]).
-The classification of speech level reduction, DS,A, of office pods and phone booths was determined on a tiered 6-Class letter-based grading scale measuring between <15 (Unclassified) and >33 (A+ Class). -To provide optimum sound insulation, pods should have a dB DS,A value of >30, and receive an A or A+ classification. Pods ranking below this provide inferior sound insulation and do not offer full speech privacy.
