The backrest of the Arne bathtub is inspired by the typical seating of the 1960s, a decade marked by creativity and innovation.
The chairs of that era, designed by masters like Arne Jacobsen, were characterized by sinuous lines, enveloping curves, and vibrant colors.

Soda designers Nada Nasrallah and Christian Horner met while studying industrial design at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at ENSCI/Les Ateliers in Paris.
Coming from different professional backgrounds in carpentry and goldsmithing/silversmithing, the common interest that led them to work together was the adoption of stimulating design projects.
With teaching experience at Kingston/New Design University St. Pölten (2003-09), Design College St. Pölten (since 2016) and work experience at Sottsass Associati and Paolo Rizzato in Milan, Radi Designers/Paris, Philips Design Vienna/Singapore, Sagem and Bene Office Furniture, Soda Designers are now based in Vienna and are engaged in a variety of projects involving furniture design, consumer electronics, interior design and home accessories.
designs for: Wittmann, Ligne Roset, Fontana Arte, MDF Italia, Rapsel, Porro, Montbel, Bene Office Furniture, Philips Design, Berndorf and others. Nada Nasrallah was a jury member for the Stadt Wien (2005), AWS Impulse/Förderprogramm der Kreativwirtschaft (2006–2008), and the State Award Design (2019).
