Online meetings, making phone calls and zones for conferencing and concentrating are inherent to the modern office. Boston meets all these needs and is used as a flexible workspace.
Equipped with glass on both sides, the Boston Workpod is a pleasant flexible workspace for concentration without being completely isolated from its surroundings.
DESIGNER
BRUNO VERMEERSCH
Bruno Vermeersch (1981, Kortrijk, Belgium) graduated as an architect from the Master of Architecture and Urban Planning – Ghent University in 2005.
He worked for 10 years as a senior architect for Studio Makkink and Bey and effective from September 2015 as Editor in Chief of form studies at the Academy of Architecture.
Through experience, Bruno Vermeersch is active in various fields and at different levels, from product to interior architecture and master planning, as an architect, product designer and creative strategist. Vermeersch is the founder of 50 Minutes and the co-founder of Jacques & André.
He is a regular guest lecturer and a member of the jury at various academies and universities, and a committee member at the Creative Industries Fund.

WALLS
The wall sections are made of upholstered FSC-certified wood panels. Because of their sound absorbing effect, they contribute to a positive effect on the acoustics in both Boston Workpod and the room in which it is placed.

Ultrathin steel frame with matt, fine-grained powder coating. Available in various standard colours. Other colours on request.
LIGHTING
The wide glass door has an aluminium handle and black hinges. Boston Workpod comes standard with LED lighting (2700K) and ventilation in the ceiling.
COMPONENTS
Due to the solid construction of its slender steel frame, Boston Workpod does not require a floor plate. The floor of your interior flows seamlessly into Boston Workpod. An additional advantage is that this makes the Boston Workpod very accessible.
CASALA CIRCULAR
In Casala furniture, as much recycled raw material as possible is used to minimise the impact on the planet when it comes to mining new materials. The Boston Workpod frame contains 40% recycled material, which is currently the highest percentage possible to guarantee a solid product.

The 10mm glass door closes with hinges into a rubber profile to create a minimum bof sound leaks.
DETAIL
For extra comfort, Boston Workpod can be expanded with a variety of options. Consider continuous air circulation in combination with a UV-C module, which eliminates virus particles and bacteria in the air. Practical elements such as a whiteboard and electrification are also available.
