HOW TO APPLY
CLEAN-UP
Clean application tools in warm soapy water before the product has started to cure.
CURING TIME
The product will cure in 24 hours for light traffic; allow 48 hours before bringing the area back into full service. Cold, damp or humid weather will delay curing.
COVERAGE
One gallon will typically cover 160-240 sq ft with one coat.
APPLICATION
Apply Asphalt Paint by brush, 3/8" nap roller or with our 18" roller frame and handle. One coat is generally sufficient although a second coat may be required on very porous or very rough surfaces. Avoid applying too thickly. Do not apply externally if rain or frost is forecasted or if the temperature is below 50°F. In extreme temperature conditions, please contact a Watco Industrial Flooring Expert at (855) 627-6350.
SURFACE PREPARATION
Ensure the surface is clean, sound and dry (slightly damp is acceptable), using a solvent free degreaser which can be used on asphalt and similar surfaces. Asphalt Paint can be applied to existing paint providing all poorly bonded material is removed and glossy surfaces are dulled by scuff-sanding with abrasive paper.
