Christine Tarkowski | To create this pattern, a large sheet of butcher paper was folded in half, then halved again over and over until it was roughly square. Tarkowski then used a ladle to gather a scoop of 2000ºF glass from a furnace. The molten glass was quickly drizzled and drawn onto the folded paper, which burned several layers away.The paper was then extinguished and unfolded to reveal the final pattern.
