All our glazes and paints are water based, environmentally safe and vapor permeable. RIFLEXI A decorative pearlescent metallic glaze for a wide number of surfaces, and will produce stunning effects when used in combination with PermaTone Textures.

RECOMMENDED USE
The luminous properties of Riflexi make it a stunning choice for elegant and luxurious wall spaces, enriching surfaces with its dramatic and unique metallic appearance. While Riflexi can be applied to most any surface, it is most effective when combined with other PermaTone products.

REDUCTION
For application other than spatula, RIFLEXI can be diluted with water, not to exceed 10% dilution by volume.
EQUIPMENT
Stainless steel trowel with rounded corners and beveled edges. Texture glove, spatula, plastic trowel, trim guard, spray equipment, cloth, brush, or any other tool useful in producing desired finish.
MAINTENANCE
Surface may be cleaned of minor stains with a damp cotton cloth.
WARRANTY
Riflexi is conditionally warranted for 10 years against delamination and color fading. For complete information, consult permatone’ s long form specifications and product warranties. This warranty does not apply to any party constituting a “consumer” for purposes of the magnuson-moss warranty act. SUGGESTED APPLICATION
-(Over smooth surfaces) Using a stainless steel trowel or spatula, apply the RIFLEXI over the surface as Quarztsilco, Palladio, Marmolino, Tevere or any other Permatone finish using airless or small strokes with irregular pattern. Avoid any material build up. -(Pattern with sponge or cloth) Apply the RIFLEXI evenly with a sponge or cloth creating the desired pattern and texture. Clean the sponge or cloth regularly to avoid wet material build up on the wall. Create your own designs by experimenting with different tools and techniques.
STORAGE
Store RIFLEXI in its original containers at temperatures not less than 40°F (4°c) or greater than 110°F (43°C). Store in covered space, out of direct sunlight. Do not stack pails more than three high.
COVERAGE
Each gallon provides approximately 300 ft2 to 500 ft2 of coverage depending on the technique of application. Variances in substrate and application technique will affect coverage.
DETAIL
A decorative pearlescent shimmer glaze, Riflexi is unsurpassed in dramatic appeal. Its rich appearance is formulated with acrylic resins, metallic and pearlescent pigments, mineral fillers, and chemical additive that enhance the coating’s performance.
LIMITATIONS
-For use on interior and exterior wall surfaces only. -Patching limitations standard to applied coatings. -This product requires skilled application. -Surface air and substrate temperatures shall be 60°F to 85°F during application and for a period of 24 hoursthereafter. -Riflexi is not compatible with solvent base products or cleaners. -Use in well ventilated areas. -Protect all adjacent surfaces (door frames, windows, etc.) adequately. -Do not water downmaterial. -Do not apply over quicksetjoint compound. -Always wear appropriate eye andskin protection when using this product. -Harmful if swallowed. -Avoid constant moisture in the wall cavity behind the coating.

SURFACE PREPARATION
Walls must be prepared to be paint ready. Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of dust, grease or other materials that may affect bonding.Previously painted surfaces must be scraped to remove all loose paint. Interior drywall must be taped, floated, and sanded using normal interior drywall finishing procedures. Use COREVMIX surface leveler to repair minor drywall damage. Prime the wall surface with PINTUFONDO in the desired background color. Apply the desired texture.
SHELF LIFE
Approximately six months if stored properly.
MATERIAL PREPARATION
Mix RIFLEXI manually or with a low rpm mixer.
