Achieving a Fire Behaviour Classification of A1 according to EN13501-1, JUPITER Ideal ROK is the only underfloor heating panel to combine fire resistance, acoustic insulation and thermal insulation into one system.
FEATURE
FIRE RESISTANCE BUILT IN
Traditionally, flooring grade insulation products have been manufactured from flammable polystyrene products. JUPITER’s 30 mm thick Ideal ROK heating panels are formed instead from fireproof natural stone wool. The panels have a sufficiently high compressive strength rating to be compatible with the majority of project applications when combined with one of our low thermal resistance load-bearing surfaces.
CLEVER TOUCHES
The Ideal ROK elements are finished with integrated aluminium heat diffuser plates with an omega-shaped pipe channel that tightly encapsulates the heating pipework to maximise heat output. To further reduce flammability and smoke in a fire, the aluminium heat diffuser plates are mechanically fixed, rather than adhered, to the Rockwool backing.
NO COMPROMISE PERFORMANCE
As per the rest of the JUPITER Ideal range, Ideal ROK is delivered by default with our tightest 125 mm pipe centres. Ideal ROK is offered with an array of complementary panel types to assist with its installation, including header return panels (with and without aluminium), pre-routed flow and return panels and crossover panels to change from 125 mm pipe centres to 250 mm pipe centres in areas where less heat output is required.

-Aluminium spreader plates are integral to the panel and will not creak or squeak as inferior renditions of this product often do. -As the aluminium is a plate rather than a foil, it is able to sit in perfect contact with the pipe round the majority of its circumference by virtue of the cleverly designed and bevelled omega profile in the plates. -Our pipe clips robustly into these panels, this is simply not possible with inferior foil-faced pnaels where the pipe breaks the foil as it is installed. -Separate header panels, available with or without aluminium heat diffusion plates, provide superior pipework layouts and insulation values by contrast to ‘all-in-one’ heating panels which attempt to incorporate these into their design.
