Volteco Triplezero Damp-proof Restoration Systems
TRIPLEZERO DAMP-PROOF RESTORATION SYSTEMS
TRIPLEZERO DAMP-PROOF RESTORATION SYSTEMS
A creamy emulsion, ready for use, super hydrophobic, non-toxic. To obtain a chemical barrier, creating a "shield" that is extremely resistant to rising damp in the wall.
INFORMATION
ADVANTAGE
- Odourless and solvent-free.
- Ready to use and easy application for injection.
- Suitable for both indoor and outdoor application.
- Effective and long-lasting water resistant protection.
BRAND
Volteco
PRODUCT TYPE
Cement-based Mortar
CONSUMPTION AND YIELD
Average product consumption is 10 cc/m for every cm of thickness of the wall.
APPLICATION
For porous brickwork, i.e. built with solid bricks and/or stone, rock and tuff, to abate capillary rising damp in walls, through injection.

PREPARATION AND APPLICATION TRIPLEZERO
UNEVEN STONE WALLS (2 PARALLEL ROWS OF HOLES)
-Drill two rows of 12 mm-diameter holes reaching less than 6 cm from the opposite side. -The two parallel rows of holes must be drilled at least 8 cm from each other, the centre distance between the holes of a single row must be 12 cm and the holes of the two rows must be scattered by 6 cm so as to obtain an injection network of alternate holes.
BRICK WALLS (1 ROW OF HOLES)
-Drill 12 mm-diameter holes in the wall, reaching all the way to 5-6 cm from the opposite side, at a distance of 12 cm from each other. -The most effective system is to drill horizontally along the course of the mortar at a level that is just above the highest elevation between the ground and the floor.
CHEMICAL BARRIER FOR THE TREATMENT AGAINST RISING DAMP
Preparing the surfaces
It is necessary to remove all existing deteriorated plaster up to a height that exceeds the obvious maximum line of rising damp by at least 50 cm.
FOUNDATIONS AT DIFFERENT LEVELS
If there are continuous walls built on foundations of different levels, when making an injected curb with TRIPLEZERO, with the function of stopping capillary rising damp, it is ecessary to maintain the same distance from the terrain, accordingly, you must follow the outline.
DAMP CONTINUOUS WALLS IN CONTACT WITH OTHER UNITS
When it is necessary to treat a portion of damp wall that is shared by different properties, that do not intend to restore it with TRIPLEZERO, we emphasize the importance of isolating the treated portion of the wall with two vertical injection bands carried out at either end of the area requiring restoration, reaching a height that stops the damp from by-passing through adjacent areas.
BUILDING CORNER
-If you only intend to treat a wall corner locally (a partial action, and therefore not recommended) it is advisable to extend the TRIPLEZERO curb against capillary rising damp by at least 1 m along both sides of the area being treated. -Once the holes have been drilled, clean them out by blowing or vacuuming out any residues. -Next, inject triplezero into the hole until it is no longer absorbed.
-Average product consumption is 10 cc/m for every cm of thickness of the wall. -After triplezero has been injected, plaster the holes with quick-setting mortar spidy 15 . -After the treatment against capillary rising damp, to eliminate the damaging effects of the drying salts, it is necessary to plaster the walls with damp and salt proof plaster calibro. -Finish with levelling compound x-lime .
