HydroCoat 203-RM, a single-component, fast-setting Portland cement-based mortar, excels in durable concrete repair. Ideal for roads, runways, bridges, and more, it’s polymer-modified and fibre-reinforced, quickly developing high adhesive and compressive strength.
DETAIL
Environmentally friendly and solvent-free, HydroBond 2K-Flex consists of two components; a bitumen emulsion and a reactive powder. These two components chemically react when mixed to produce a firm, yet still highly flexible coating that can be applied by trowel or by airless spray machine. Adhering insulated panels to concrete, masonry and thoroughly dried thick bituminous coatings, 2K-Flex dries quickly and is rain-fast after a short period.

APPLICATION RATE
To comply with DIN 18195, class W2.1-E, the membrane must be of two coats to a total thickness of 4 mm, with the first coat reinforced with mesh. To achieve a 4 mm cured film, a wet application of 5.6 litres/m² is required.

A reinforcing mesh made from woven fibreglass yarns and coated with an alkaline resistant latex which prevents the alkaline present in cement from degrading the glass fibre.
HYDROBOND 2K-FLEX PRIMER
A fast-drying bitumen emulsion primer and bonding agent that is applied to the substrate prior to the application of the Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex reinforced bitumen waterproof coating. The product adheres well to concrete, masonry, plaster and most other common construction substrates.
