From aesthetic carports to extravagant patio roofs – roof constructions with photovoltaics give outdoor areas a special stylish touch. The freedom to vary the placement of the cells allows for unique designs, such as glazed entrance areas or canopies. The installation of semi-transparent modules in overhead glazing makes it possible to combine high performance with weather protection and a unique appearance.

DOUBLE THE BENEFITS OF CARPORTS AND PATIOS WITH PHOTOVOLTAICS
In Central Europe, a south-facing roof with a 30° incline produces the highest total yield over the course of the year. But even with slightly inclined systems, such as atrium glazing or carports, you can still expect 90 % of the optimum value. When used as a carport, there is a double benefit, as parking spaces protected from the weather are created on the one hand and renewable energy can be generated on the other.
