Malmö is a freestanding gas fireplace that can be used as a patio heater. What makes the Malmö model special is that you can easily change the burner from gas to bioethanol.
It is of course important to point out that the gas burner may only be used outdoors. The Malmö is equipped with a cupboard and a shelf for storing either the gas bottle or the accessories for the bio fire. As mentioned, you can choose between two types of burners; gas and bioethanol.
The flames are vertical in the fireplace, unlike Decoflame's built-in models where the flames are more linear. The bioethanol burner is filled into the tank located in the middle of the fireplace, and can then be ignited with a long fireplace lighter. When the fire is extinguished, the lid and closing tool provided are used.
