FeltForms ceiling tiles are designed to dampen noise while increasing sound clarity and speech intelligibility in spaces with 2 x 2 drop ceiling grids.
FeltForms modern patterns and beautiful felted textures transform the acoustics and aesthetics of lay-in ceilings.
The tiles are designed as a tool kit for improving sound in a variety of environments including living rooms, home theaters, restaurants, lobbies and conference rooms. Quad Ceiling Tiles provide a combination of absorption and diffusion.
This combination reduces reverberation but additionally scatters directional sound, controlling flutter and slap-back echoes while retaining a certain amount of “live” room characteristics. This is adequate for a “warmer” sound in classical and background music program.

WATER-RESISTANCE
FeltForms are not designed for spaces with extreme humidity or constant contact with liquids, however water and other cleaning agents may be used on the tiles. FeltForms can be installed in bathrooms as long as tiles are not in direct contact with water or excessive moisture.

DURABILITY
FeltForms are strong and resilient, but Twist and Quad tiles can be crushed with enough force applied to their empty cavities. If tiles are damaged, the modular application permits replacement of individual tiles.
CLEANING
Tiles should be vacuumed regularly. Minor stains and dirt can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Deeper stains can be removed with mild soap and water. FeltForms can be bleached cleaned using a 10% bleach and water solution.
INSTALLATION
CUTTING
Tiles may be cut with a utility knife or power tools. For best results, end patterns at the ceiling level where cutting imperfections are less noticeable or center the patterns to avoid cutting. For a seamless look use Edge tiles on the perimeters of Twist or Quad tile installations.
CEILING INSTALLATION
Quad, Twist and Edge FeltForms Ceiling Tiles fit in standard 1” (15/16) 2’ x 2’ drop ceiling grids. Use Edge Ceiling Tiles for edging around installation perimeter and mechanicals.
CONSTRUCTION ADHESIVE INSTALLATION
Apply Fuze*It or similar construction adhesive to the back of the tile, ensuring the perimeter is covered with adhesive. Measure and mark your alignment with masking tape or lightly with a pencil. Install from a corner or edge and work your way out. Apply the tile and press firmly until tile is secure and aligned. To prevent adhesive from spilling outside the edge of the tile apply evenly and spread excess inward.
DOUBLE-SIDED TAPE INSTALLATION
To prevent damage to walls install FeltForms on a separate sheet material and mount it to the wall. (Note: Install the four corner tiles last to hide the hardware.) To install tiles unto a sheet material apply the included adhesive strips to the perimeter of the back of the tiles. Press the tape unto the tiles firmly. Measure and mark your alignment with masking tape or pencil. Install from a corner or edge and work your way out. Remove the tape backer and line up the corners of the tiles. Once the tiles are in the desired position press the taped perimeter firmly against the surface.
