STUDIO LES CRAFTIES
Since the creation of Studio Les Crafties in 2018, Jeanne and Marie-Marie have created sets applied to the domestic space.
Their collections are panoplies, families of objects, a contemporary heritage of interior designers. They think of their objects in a dialogue of materials, colors and scales.
It's a joyous back and forth between volume and flatness, and above all the desire to visually transcribe the pleasure of manipulating materials.
The motif like the panorama is at the center of their work, freed it takes an important place, carrying culture and symbolism.
The work involves craftsmanship, the production of small series, installations or self-produced objects.
At the edge of artistic installation and design, they proudly wear this double hat, in a desire for complementarity and decompartmentalization.

The Crafties pattern was born from a passion for micro-editing printing techniques, particularly risography, where each layer of color gradually reveals the final pattern. Also inspired by the textile world, the duo creates a spatial narrative via various elements: wallpapers, coverings, tailor-made decors and fabric frescoes.
