This awning won the IF product design award for its harmonious, semi-circular design. And it looks unique when it’s fully extended, too. As a semi-cassette awning, the markilux 1600 is open underneath.

FEATURES
The advantages of a semi-cassette awning over an open awning are obvious: covers protect folding arms and the awning cover from three directions – from above, from the left and from the right. This means that neither rain nor dirt can enter the cassette from the sides and the awning is well protected. Read about all the other features of the markilux 1600 here:
-The folding arms of the awning are available both with a twin steel-link chain and with an extra-long-lasting and quiet bionic tendon. -The markilux 1600 folding-arm awning can be extended with markilux shadeplus. This extendible vertical awning cover in the front profile protects your eyes when the sun is low as well as keeping out inquisitive glances. -You are interested in shading a larger area than say 4 x 3 m? The markilux 1600 semi-cassette awning can also be used as part of a connected system. -The markilux 1600 stretch allows more projection than width and is therefore ideal for narrow niches, balconies and patios.
