SAND28 METAL SHEET FOR ROOFING
Traditional, yet full of character.
SAND 28 is one of the most versatile profiles of the range, multi-corrugation, characterised by trapezoidal grooves with constant pitch.
Suitable also for minimum slopes thanks to the lateral overlap of 1.5 grooves, it guarantees a high index of walkability and water flow rate as well as resistance to stress over time.
Its geometry makes it particularly suitable, in addition to traditional straight and curved roofing, for applications where aesthetic impact is crucial, such as building facade coverings or industrial false ceilings.
Our production facilities allow us to produce SAND 28 in three different useful widths: 680 mm, 900 mm or 1120 mm. In the 1120 mm version (L3), the incidence of overlapping is considerably reduced. The slabs are produced in precision lengths according to customer specifications.
The possible bending processes are: fixed radius bending, variable radius bending, shed bending. The following applications are available on the inside: SANDnodrip non-woven fabric with anti-condensation function, or SANDcontrol non-woven fabric with anti-noise-anti-condensation function.

SANDNODRIP - ANTI-CONDENSATION CLOTH
-SANDnodrip is a special non-woven fabric cloth chemically bonding specific elements that create a highly porous surface with excellent moisture absorption properties. -These characteristics prevent the roof from dripping, thanks to polyester fibres and microbeads in the felt that absorb and collect the forming condensation. -SANDnodrip corrugated metal sheets are characterised by a fire resistance class A2-s1, d0.

ly designed to offer excellent performance in absorbing any condensation that may form. -The reduced thickness allows you to carry out interventions, even in case of recovery or renovation, without raising the roof package. -The corrugated sheets with SANDcontrol application are characterised by fire resistance class C-s1, d0.

PROCESSING
MAXIFOLD
For a shed-type structure
This process, performed on a bending machine with a special shaped die, produces a single transversal fold on the trapezoidal sheet with an angle greater than or equal to 87°.
All the deformations generated are contained and controlled by the special conformation of the mold, so as to make the finished products perfectly suitable, equal and coupled together in the various lateral and longitudinal overlaps. A special notching of the material in correspondence of the lateral overlap of the bent area makes the overlap itself easy, avoiding passages and infiltrations of meteoric water.
The corrugated sheets obtained this way are mainly used in the realisation of shed or mini-shed roofing where the angular conformation obtained eliminates the application of the connection sheet metal to the ridge.

NOTCHING
For variable bendings
Bending takes place by means of a series of transversal impressions to the trapezoidal sheet (notches) that produce a series of bends with constant/variable pitch.
-The notches are designed and executed to allow a correct absorption of the material stresses due to deformation, without loss of rigidity of the trapezoidal element. The succession, the angular incidence and the pitch of the notches determine the value of the bending radius, which can be constant for the entire length of the sheet or with a variable value in the various sections of the same length. -Notching can be concentrated on one or more parts of the length, giving rise to particular shapes mixed curved/straight or with irregular bending. -The curved slabs obtained in this way are mainly used in the creation of roofs with regular or irregular curved section, cusp section, with "Y beams", etc.

CALENDERING
For fixed radius bending
Micro impression calendering is a bending process that allows a controlled deformation of trapezoidal sheet metal until the desired radius of bending is obtained. Constant radius curved sheets are mainly used in the creation of curved roofing (on metal structures, prefabricated Y-shaped tiles, etc.).
