Water-based enamel for ultra-resistant lacquering with semi-gloss effect
Marcotech ultra au40 is a water-based enamel for ultra-resistant semi-gloss lacquers, designed to give new life to doors and windows. Its special formulation gives the treated substrates special protection from weathering agents and a high resistance to scratches, impacts and abrasions.
Marcotech ultra au40 can be applied inside and outside on wood, both new and already-painted, galvanized surfaces, hard pvc, metal or aluminium, all suitably pre-treated.Marcotech ultra au40 creates a protective film on the substrate that prevents adhesion of dirt and greasy substances; after application, it is easy to clean with common household detergents. Marcotech ultra au40 is ready to use, and with its fast drying time, it lets you complete the work quickly.
When the work is finished, use water to clean the tools.Use product according to current health and safety regulations especially if applied indoors (face-mask, airing). On tannin-rich woods, to avoid dark stains forming, apply the insulating primer unimarc primer antitannino.

PREPARING THE SURFACE
SURFACES IN PLASTIC MATERIAL (PVC)
- Apply 2 layers of marcotech ultra.
- Sand the surface area to roughen it slightly.
- Degrease with suitable thinner and clean the substrate.
- On a clean and dry substrate, apply 2 layers of unimarc fondo universale series 335 or 1-2 layers of primer 1630307.
GALVANIZED SURFACES, ALUMINUM AND LIGHT ALLOYS
- Apply 2 layers of marcotech ultra.
- Remove any traces of oxides by mechanical or manual cleaning.
- Carefully degrease with suitable alkaline solutions or thinner.
- Remove any layers of old, poorly-adhering paints, and sand the entire surface in to roughen it.
- Remove all traces of dust and, on a perfectly dry substrate, apply 1-2 coats of primer 1630307 rust inhibitor.
