Gobbetto Dega Energy® is a two-component product with magnetic properties.
Based on resins and metal fillers, radioactive-waste free. Base color is anthracite gray. Can be colored with universal and acrylic pigments.
Suitable for floors and walls. Applied to radiant panel floors it improves thermal efficiency and heat diffusion.
Also suitable to magnetically fix accessories and furnishing items, avoiding holes and use of nails or dowels, therefore maintaining integrity of the surface.

SUBSTRATUM PREPARATIONS
the surface must be clean and dry. Any previous coatings must be removed and possible concrete uneveness must be levelled.
USE
Clean the surface and lay Dega Primer for better anchoring. Mix the two components A + B in proportion 1*2 ( e.g. 1 kg A + 2 kg B ). Apply Gobbetto Dega Energy® in millimetric level using a roller. Once the product is dry, dry-sand and apply a second layer. Finish with 2/3 coats of transparent protective resin.
INTENDED USE
This product is for floors and walls : can be applied on plaster, screeds and more different types of solid substrates. It improves thermal conductivity and is able to provide a good barrier of isolation from electromagnetic waves.
When applied to floors fitted with radiant heathing system this resin improves the thermal efficiency and diffusion of heat. For construction purposes this resin allows to hang and affix accessories and furnishing (fitted with specific magnets) to the walls without the need of drilling to insert nails and screws, keeping the surface unbroken. The Gobbetto Dega Energy can also be used as a base for the creation of the Gobbetto Dega Spatolato floors and for artistic decorations (Gobbetto Dega Art)
APPLICATION
apply a Gobbetto Dega Primer undercoat and let it dry. Carefully mix Component A with Component B with 1 to 2 ratio (eg 1 kg Comp.A + 2 kg Comp.B). Apply a very thin coat of Gobbetto Dega Energy with a trowel or knife for plaster. Let dry overnight and apply a second thin coat. Make sure the previous layer is completely dry and remove all possible roughness or bumps on the surface of each layer. Once the product has hardened, after 4/8 hours, it can be sanded lightly to obtain a smooth, flat, even surface.
This surface can be finished using Gobbetto Dega Plastic and Gobbetto Dega Brek sealers depending on the result required. Notes: do not apply the product in a single layer over 2.5 mm thick. The hardening process would be longer and might cause the formation of shrinkage cracks. Any layers greater than 2-3 mm. must be built with multiple coats.
Before applying a new coat make sure that the previous layer has thoroughly hardened. Proper ventilaton is important for the drying process. The use of air fans might be recomended.
