Janson’s plate girder bridges (JSB) were designed for temporary applications, especially in areas with heavy traffic density and where a span of up to 43.5 metres is required.
The bridge sections are transported to the construction site as one piece as possible and subsequently installed and assembled into a complete bridge in minimal building time.
The sections can be coupled both in the length and transversally and therefore offer an enormous variety of span options and passage widths. The sections are completely produced from high-quality steel and are equipped with steel bridge decks, which is reinforced with troughs.
Janson panel bridges were designed with any eye for assembly with the use of relatively small tools and small cranes.
It is also possible to set up this bridge system horizontally in places where a crane has no excess at all. The bridge sections can be pre-assembled as separate units or can be transported partly pre-assembled to the destination of the bridge.
