Model 12
12 is the overhead door with counterweights made in pressed, reinforced galvanised steel, with jambs of only 6 cm, suitable for measurements up to W. 250 cm.
The door frame is made with an exclusive galvanised steel profile in which a rubber sealing strip can be housed. It comes ready assembled for easy fitting, complete with Yale type lock with handle and internal release, anti-fall device, cement counterweights, ropers and anchoring rag bolts .
MODEL 16
16 is the overhead door with counterweights made in pressed, reinforced galvanised steel, with jambs of only 8 cm, suitable for measure ments up to W 340 cm. The door frame is made with an exclusive galvanised steel profile in which a rubber sealing strip can be housed. It comes ready assembled for easy fitting, complete with Yale lock with handle and internal release, anti-fall device, cement counterweights, ropers and anchoring rag bolts.

MODEL SPECIAL
Special is the overhead door with counterweights made in pressed, reinforced galvanised steel, with jambs of 12-14-16 cm, suitable for measurements up to W 650 x H 280 cm. The door frame is made with an exclusive reinforced steel profile, 80 mm, designed to house the rubber sealing strip. It comes ready assembled for easy fitting, complete with Yale type lock with handle and internal release, set-up for motor-drive unit, anti-fall system against the accidental breaking of the cables, cement counterweights, ropers and anchoring rag bolts.

Pratic Special Energy Saving
Ministry of economic development, with decree of 26 January 2010 - art. 1, clause 1, letter c), it establish that the “extendable and assimilated closures, that delimit the building to outside or to unheated rooms”, can take advantage of the tax deduction, now stands at 65%, if they respect certain thermal transmittance values.
Overhead and sectional doors belong to the category “extendable and assimilated closures”, with the necessary condintion that they separate heated rooms (garage or other) from the outside or from other unheated local.
CE SAFETY
SAFETY ACCORDING TO CE MARKING
Pratic overhead doors are CE certified and they are equipped with the following safety systems:
- Anti-fall system with certified cable (12/16): in case of break of suspension cable the "parachute" immediately stops the overhead door in the position where the break occurs.
- Anti-fall system with double certified cable (16 optional/Special standard): anti-fall system designed by De Nardi, with the addition of an additional suspension cable, guarantees the unstoppable of the overhead door. Since 1998 it has never occured the break of both certified cables.
- Limitation of forces: the new automation 24 C.C. De Nardi by FAAC respects the parameters prescribed by the regulations concerning the limitation of forces. The electronic control unit has a sophisticated detection system and acquisition of the stress profiles, of the automatic regulation of engine power during the whole cycle of opening, with consequent limitation, within the normal parameters of impact forces.
Mechanical safety rib: the new active type mechanical safety rib provides continuous self-test of efficiency of the sensors, excluding any possibility of uncontrolled failure.
- Durability and manoeuvrability: De Nardi overhead doors, manual and motorized, have been subjected to tests to over 20.000 cycles of opening and closing without ever resorting to unplanned maintenance and/or replacement of components such as: suspension cables, bearings, pulleys etc.
- Wind resistance: all overhead doors De Nardi are certified Class 2, in function of the place of provided installation, if in external facade ir in totally protected area.

ANTI-FALL SYSTEM WITH CERTIFIED CABLE
In case of breakage of the suspension cable, the “parachute” stops immediately the overhead door in the position in which the break occurs.
ANTI-FALL SYSTEM WITH DOUBLE CERTIFIED CABLE
breaks cable? The second intervenes. Breaks the second cable? The door is locked in the position in which it is, thanks to the parachute of the series. Since 1998 it has never occurred the break of the both certified cables. N.B. Not available on version PRATIC 12.
LIMITATION OF THE FORCES
An electronic system adjusts the engine power maintaining the impact forces within the security parameters.
MECHANICAL SAFETY RIB
It provides for the continuous self-test, excluding any possibility of uncontrolled failure.
PROTECTION OF LEVER ARMS
Security and beauty. The levers are designed and positioned as the standard performance requires, they are coated to get along the overhead door.

SALT FOG RESISTANT PAINTING
f the doors De Nardi are installed near the sea, we are able to offer a special anti-corrosive powders coating, which guarantees the maximum protection against the salt fog and various environmental corrosive agents.
POLYESTER POWDER-COATED PAINT FOR THE FRAME
The quality and durability of the De Nardi overhead doors are guaranteed thanks to the stove-enamelled polyester powder paint finish. The painting is carried out in the up-to-date automated plant, where it goes through an efficient production cycle: phosphating-cleanin/degreasing in a tunnel, double rinsing, kiln drying at 130° C, polyester powder spraying in robotised or manual booth (average thickness 40 micron) and drying in oven at 200° C.
