CONVECTION HEATING
-With convection heating, radiators heat the air in the room, generating a convective movement which causes the air to rise. When the air comes into contact with objects, it transfers the heat, and the air cools and sinks before the cycle starts all over again. -This type of heating system creates currents of dry air that transport dust and bacteria. It is not so much the heat, or energy, that rises as the hot air. This means that, with convection heating systems, the warm air is at the top, leaving the area below cold. This creates an unpleasant cold feeling at your feet, and heat around your head.

RADIANT HEATING
-The electric Helios glass radiator uses radiation to heat the space. It is made up of two sheets of heat-treated laminated glass. Laser technology is used to create the transparent heating element, which is heated electrically. A light comes on to show the radiator is working. It warms up in just 10-15 minutes. -Unlike standard electric heaters which have very hot heating elements, the Helios radiator works at relatively low temperatures. This creates only a pleasant, delicate feeling of warmth, and it does not generate any noise or odours. Just like the sun’s rays, radiant heating is multi-directional and works via infrared rays that heat mainly objects and matt surfaces, without interfering with the atmosphere. This allows the heat to be distributed evenly, creating the ultimate feeling of comfort and wellbeing, and avoiding that unpleasant feeling of heat around your head and cold at your feet. -Radiant heating creates warmth, leaving the air clean and dust-free, and maintaining its natural level of humidity. This means that even people who suffer from allergies or an irritable throat can breathe easily
