The Cabanon collection, whose name is inspired by Le Corbusier’s cabin, captures the original spirit of the Finnish sauna, a separate building from the house which is often built by a lakeside at one with nature.
The standout feature of the saunas in this collection are their exterior walls: made of painted corrugated aluminium in three different matte colours, their sophisticated, subtle, almost camouflage effect ensures the sauna blends naturally into its surroundings.
This makes Cabanon a highly versatile sauna, as it can be installed in any environment, from the northernmost locations down to the Mediterranean, and is also suitable for city living around the globe.
DESIGNER
RODOLFO DORDONI
Rodolfo Dordoni, Architect and Designer, was born in Milan, where he graduated in Architecture.
Responsible over the years for the artistic direction of Artemide (glass collection), Cappellini (from 1979 to 1989), FontanaArte (furniture collection), Foscarini, Minotti (from 1997 to the present) and Roda (since 2006), he designs products for several companies including:
