Compared to traditional solar systems with natural circulation, which have an external storage tank, separated from the collector, the revolutionary STRATOS® DR system, produces domestic hot water through direct heating of the sanitary storage tank, which is integrated in the panel.

HEATING ELEMENT
It is possible to integrate the STRATOS® DR with an electric heaƟ ng element. The heater is equipped with a comfort temperature regulaƟ on thermostat as well as a manual safety reset thermostat. The use of the heaƟ ng element guarantees DHW available at a comfortable temperature able to meet the minimum requirements of the user.
ANTI-FREEZE HEATING ELEMENT
The STRATOS® DR system must be installed in areas free from frost risk. When it is exposed to temperatures below 0 °C (and in any case not below than -5 °C) the installaƟ on and use of the anƟ -freeze safety heater element is necessary. If the temperature falls below -5°C the system must be empƟ ed and suitably covered and protected. Always refer to the installaƟ on manual provided with the product.
ANCHORAGE AND INSTALLATION WITH WINDPROOF BALLAST
The STRATOS® fi xing systems, thanks to their specifi c design are extremely effi cient and safe in all circumstances. Design studies and simulaƟ ons carried out with the aid of highly sophisƟ cated computer simulaƟ ons such as the FEM, do not show structural criƟ caliƟ es and provide excellent resistance results to wind and snow loads, even in the most unfavorable condiƟ ons. The STRATOS® system if installed on fl at surfaces must be secured to the ground to prevent any risk of overturning due to wind forces. Fixing kits for fl at surfaces allow anchoring directly to the ground through bolƟ ng with screws and dowels. If it is not possible to drill the support surfaces it is necessary to anchor the system through the fi xing on ballast in solid and compact material with adequate overall weight. Always refer to the installaƟ on manual provided with the product.
