Skye is the fixed and sliding doors’ partition system, in wood and glass, designed by Piero Lissoni for Lualdi and launched during Supersalone 2021.
Like reflections in the sky, the walls of the new Lualdi’s partition system reflect the light off its surfaces, returning it to the surrounding space.

System of glass and wood doors configurable in different compositions of fixed and sliding brushes. 50mm thick door with solid wood perimeter profile, available in the range of essences, with safety glass 6mm thick.
DESIGN AND ESSENTIALITY FOR THE SKYE SLIDING SYSTEM
The Lualdi range of handles is designed to integrate with Skye thanks to its essential design, which works in synergy with the exclusive aesthetic of the system, creating a minimalist and homogeneous visual impact.
FLUSH SWING DOOR SYSTEM WITH ALUMINUM FRAME
1. Rail with shock absorber and sliding trolley with height adjustment mechanism;
2. Sliding system with aluminum frame 50 mm thick, and tempered glass 6 mm thick. The system is available with fix and sliding panels;
3. Handle Included.
4. Slats 20x16/10 mm.
DESIGNER - PIERO LISSONI
Artistic director at Lualdi, in 2014 he won the Compasso D’oro award for his ‘L16’ door. His goal? To create objects whose beauty enhances everyday life and which bring together different styles, in harmony, around a minimalist aesthetic. His influences include Italian masters such as Ettore Sottsass and Achille Castiglioni, as well as modern Danish artists such as Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjærholm.
