Lualdiporte LCD62 Swing Door
LCD62 SWING DOOR
LCD62 SWING DOOR
Designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni
Designed for Lualdi by Luigi Caccia Dominioni, the LCD62 interior door is the reinterpretation and evolution of a historical model in a project that involves both technique and aesthetics.
LCD62 becomes even more versatile and flexible thanks to its reversible door, concealed hinges, and adjustable door jamb that adapts to various wall thicknesses. The planarity of the jamb with the door gives elegance and refinement to the wall. The revised proportions of the frame and the new finishes lend a contemporary note to the classical line.

DESIGNER : LUIGI CACCIA DOMINIONI
One of the greatest protagonists of post-World War II architecture and interior design, the life of Luigi Caccia Dominioni is inextricably linked to his home city, Milan. The architect developed a sober, modern language which was – at the same time – ideal for weaving a dialogue between the city’s age-old constructions and the new forms and iconic materials of modernism. His partnership with the Lualdi family coincides with the creation of the LCD 62 model, the first example of industrial design applied to doors.
