The murals are made from special wet-strength paper that is flame retardant (B-s1,d0) and therefore makes zero contribution to the spread of fire. Komar uses environmentally friendly, non-fade printing inks for impressively clear image reproduction.
Our products bear the FSC® seal, the mark of responsible forest management, demonstrating our commitment to supporting the social and economic welfare of the forests and their local communities, and ensuring that we are able to trace all production and commercial processes end to end; from the forestry manager through to the photomural.
Komar products are also vapour permeable and PVC free. All Komar paper murals are fully recyclable. In addition, the paper murals are tested for compliance with the French VOC regulation and are classified A+ for VOC emissions, meaning that they produce the lowest emissions and give the best possible health protection.
