TABL-EAU MULTI-USE RAIL
TABL-EAU MULTI-USE RAIL
Designed By Silvia Fanticelli
Designer Silvia Fanticelli’s TABL-EAU range for Salvatori combines natural stone and brass in a natural evolution of its sister collection PLAT-EAU.
Playing with sharp lines and basic geometric shapes, the pieces add a touch of restrained glamour to any bathroom setting or kitchen setting. The elegant multi- use rail can be used as is or with the addition of a brass hook.
Its support piece, a single cube of Salvatori marble, is available in a choice of six different natural stones: Bianco Carrara, Crema d’Orcia, Grigio Versilia, Gris du Marais®, Pietra d’Avola and Silk Georgette®. TABL-EAU is a modular collection consisting of wall rails of various lengths, simple brass hooks and a dish which can hold soap, shampoo or items such as jewellery.
DESIGNER
SILVIA FANTICELLI
After graduating in architecture from Università degli Studi in Florence, Tuscan-born Silvia Fanticelli worked with Claudio Nardi Architects.
She then moved to Milan where she spent several years at Piero Lissoni’s studio before setting up her own business in 2009.
Her work ranges from interior design for public spaces, styling and exhibition projects to product design and is inspired by her curiosity about different cultures and traditional handicrafts. Above all, however, it is defined by her approach of looking at the design world from a female perspective.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
-All our finished products leave our Tuscan premises pre-sealed. Since we do not like to paint the surface of our lovely stones with transparent paints or resins, we apply three coats of the highest possible level of protective sealant. This helps to preserve the product without compromising the wonderful natural look and feel of the stone.
-That said, please bear in mind that there is no sealer on the market that can make natural stone 100% stain proof, especially if you leave the staining agent on it for a prolonged period. The sealant acts as a temporary barrier that allows you to have a few hours between the moment a staining substance (for example, wine or coffee) comes into contact with the stone and the moment you wipe it off. The important thing is to act quickly before a substance is absorbed into the stone, as that is when it causes staining. -Please DO NOT use cleaners containing abrasive cleansers, ammonia, bleach, acid or even those “homemade remedies” made from lemon, vinegar and the like.
-If you are a particularly assiduous cleaner or you have difficulty removing a mark, you can use specialist stone cleaning products and, if to set your mind at rest you can periodically apply a new coat of sealant.-For cleaning stone, wood and metal, simply use a soft cloth with water or a neutral detergent.
