INSTALLATION

-The support base for wall or floor for the tiles must be stable, dry, flat and it must have the adequate consistency. This base must never be too hot or too cold and should be clean. One must not forget to clean any dust, grease or oil leftovers to facilitate an optimal adhesion. -Once the pieces have been properly installed, proceed immediately to remove the remnants of the installation materials with a soft and clean sponge and clean water without rubbing on the pieces. -The recommendation for the grouting of the pieces is to use fine-grained or controlled granulometry (CG.2 according to EN 13888) materials without additives. Clean immediately after grouting with a clean sponge and clean water, while the grout is still humid and is easily removable.

TILE MAINTENANCE AFTER INSTALLATION

This type of tiles require following these recommended guidelines, shown below, for cleaning : 

-In general, one must use non-aggressive and neutral pH product. -In general, the use of ammonia-based products (NH3), always diluted in water, never directly on the piece, is recommended. -One cannot use chemically aggressive products. -One cannot use products with hydrochloric acid (HCl). The remaining acid products should be used with caution in very diluted concentrations. -Citric acid and other acidic food products leave stains if left too long to act on the tile. They must be removed as soon as possible. -The use of powder products of abrasive action is not recommended. -A damp cloth and neutral liquid soap will be enough.
