Renson Exhaust Ventilation System
Exhaust VENTILATION SYSTEM
EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM
For a Natural Supply Of Air
When you're watching TV, there's no need for your ventilation system to run at maximum power in the bedrooms, but when you're in the bath, you need plenty of airflow right there and then.
A smart demand-driven ventilation system will fully automatically ventilate the rooms you are actually in, based on sensors. A natural supply of fresh air is provided via window vents in the dry spaces in your home.

THE IMPORTANCE OF A VENTILATION SYSTEM
On average, we spend 90% of our time indoors, and the air quality inside is often poorer than it is outside. Counterintuitive as that sounds, the problem can be quickly solved by using an effective and reliable mechanical ventilation system. Your ventilation system extracts polluted, humid air and replaces it with fresh outdoor air to guarantee a healthy indoor climate, all year round.
WHAT IS AN EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM?
Fresh outdoor air easily finds a way into your home via self-regulating window vents. At the same time, polluted indoor air is mechanically extracted. Renson® adds demand-driven controls to that to create an exhaust ventilation system that monitors the air quality in each room and increases the airflow where needed. Energy-efficient and effective.
EASE OF USE AND MAINTENANCE
-Carefree living with minimal maintenance and maximal ease of use. -Breathe freely and easily, without major maintenance tasks or complex controls. -Minimal maintenance and optimal ease of use for your everyday comfort.
HOW DOES AN EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM WORK?
An exhaust ventilation system works on a demand-driven basis. Sensors measure the air quality using a selection of relevant parameters. If these values rise to unacceptable levels, the ventilation system automatically kicks into action to restore the balance. The fan starts extracting more polluted indoor air, which is replaced by fresh outdoor air coming in via the window vents. Once the air quality has been restored to an acceptable level, the ventilation system automatically returns to its basic airflow setting. That way, it provides plenty of ventilation at all times, but never too much.
BENEFITS
The fact that an exhaust ventilation system operates on a demand-driven basis is undoubtedly one of the main arguments in its favor. The system provides non-stop optimal indoor air quality, without you having to lift as much as a finger. But that's by no means all: an exhaust system is an attractive prospect for several other reasons too.
-Because air is supplied naturally, the system uses single ducts, meaning it is easier to install as part of minor renovations. -Energy efficient and effective operation: the system only provides more intensive ventilation when and where necessary. The fact that it operates silently is a bonus. -Minimal maintenance for optimal functioning and a long service life.

ARE THERE ANY DOWNSIDES TO AN EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM?
Of course, there's a flipside to every benefit. Fresh air enters your home directly via window vents. While that allows you to experience the sensation of outdoor air — you get to take in the smells spring, autumn or a summer shower — it also brings in a greater volume of polluted or dusty air, which is less desirable. If that's a no-no, you might be better off with a balanced system, which can partially filter the air that comes in.
HOW TO MAINTAIN AN EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM
A demand-driven exhaust ventilation system does not have any filters — and that's a bonus from a maintenance point of view. However, it is possible for dust and dirt to accumulate in the window vents, air ducts and extraction vents. It's best to clean the vents and louvres on an annual basis. For the air ducts, a thorough clean every ten years will suffice.
RENSON®: MORE THAN 50 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN VENTILATION
Good ventilation has become an increasingly hot topic over the past few years — and that's also reflected in the specific regulations and obligations when you build or renovate a home. Renson® has been putting its insights and dedicated knowhow in to practice for decades. For over 50 years, our team has been committed to healthy indoor air in your home. Breathe freely and without a care with a Renson® ventilation solution.
DEMAND-DRIVEN EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM BY RENSON®
-In contrast to a traditional exhaust ventilation system, a demand-driven exhaust ventilation system extracts air only when and where necessary. The rooms connected to the system are ventilated more or less intensively at all times, depending on the current air quality. This air quality is measured by sensors that keep an eye on humidity, odors and CO2. A natural supply of fresh air is provided by self-regulating window vents. If no humidity or odors are detected, the central ventilation unit operates at its minimum setting. -Fresh air enters the dry rooms in your home (living room, dining room, bedrooms etc.) and makes its way towards the wet rooms (bathroom , kitchen, laundry room, bathroom, utility room etc.). At the same, the Healthbox 3.0 central extraction unit extracts any polluted air. The core of this Renson® demand-driven exhaust ventilation system only extracts polluted air where and when necessary, based on the CO2 and humidity and/or VOC levels in the indoor air per (wet) room in the home. The sensors decide when the airflow needs to be increased to make sure no energy is wasted.
APPLICATIONS
EXHAUST VENTILATION SYSTEM APPLICATIONS
The benefits of an exhaust ventilation system soon become apparent in the widest range of projects, as the demand-driven operation of this system gives it the flexibility to effectively meet highly specific and changing needs.
