The Glazing Vision Visionvent skylight is designed to provide a combination of natural daylight and natqural ventilation to your space. This contemporary ventilation skylight is available in three options
The manually operated Visionvent opens using a screw jack mechanism fitted inside the internal aperture, a pole is provided in order to adjust this mechanism at height.
Our chain actuated Visionvent can be controlled by a wall switch and is opened using an integrated chain drive unit housed within the frame.
The top of the range electrically operated Visionvent unit also operates via a supplied wall switch, but functions via twin drive synchronised mechanisms with encoder feedback.
This allows larger sizes to be manufactured and full connectivity to extra options such as remote control and building management systems.
Each unit features dual colour, thermally broken framework and is supplied with heat soak tested low e toughenqed glass as standard.

EASY CLEAN COATING
A coating applied to the external face of the glass that facilitates water run-off. Helps the glass stay cleaner for longer and makes cleaning easier
GLAZING
A wide variety of glazing specifications are available for this product. Your technical sales advisor will be happy to answer any questions regarding specific glass specifications or glazing performance requirements. Otherwise, quotes include suitable and cost effective glazing proposals.
PERFORMANCE AND WEATHER TIGHTNESS
The product comprises thermally broken aluminum sections consisting of polyamide thermal breaks and closed cell PIR insulation thermally isolating the inner and outer frame sections. The lid frame of the product employs a dual hardness EPDM insulating gasket to thermally isolate the frame from the interior of the building. Structural integrity is assured through the use of finite element analysis (FEA) and testing.

CURB TOP TRIM
Cover designed to mask the top of curbs which may be visible through glass when viewed from above. Includes detail to recess standard drywall.
TELESCOPIC CRANK HANDLE
An extra long telescopic (5.5’ – 10’ long) crank handle supplied in place of the standard crank handle. This is suitable for installations where the product is at a reach of up to 15’ above floor level.
SECURITY
This product is designed with security as a priority. The mechanisms cannot be back driven and cannot be tampered with from the outside.
MANUAL OPERATION
The product is opened and closed by a centrally mounted brass screw jack, which is operated by the user below with a long crank handle
SPECIAL COLOR
This product has separate inner and outer colors as standard. Each can be swapped for a special color.
DETAIL
The Manual Visionvent is a thermally efficient product designed to provide ventilation. The product can be manually opened to a maximum height of approximately 12” through the use of a brass screw jack. Each unit is supplied with a crank handle. As standard this is 5’ long (suitable for installations where the product is at a reach of up to 10’ above floor level). A variety of optional extras such as special color and easy clean coating are available. This product is robust and long-lasting, boasting excellent thermal performance, air tightness and reliable operation.
