STRUCTURAL GLASS RAILING
The structural glass railing has an extruded aluminum shoe that is encased with cladding that can be either stainless steel or aluminum. Top caps or rails are available in round and U-channel forms in materials and finishes that match the cladding as well as the assist rail. Wood is a popular option.

In order to meet IBC codes, ½” to 3/4” (13/16” overall thickness) in tempered monolithic or laminated, clear/Ɵnted/frosted.
BASE SHOE MATERIALS
6063-T6 Aluminum, 2 ½” wide x 4 1/8” high to hold monolithic or laminated tempered glass, ½” - 13/16” overall width.
GENERAL
Newman by Hollaender® PANELGRIP®2 is a dry glaze system designed for glass infill and balustrade, and is used in all railing applicaƟons that must comply with IBC codes for structural strength and dimensions.
OVERALL DIMENSIONS
-Height of top rail above walking surface: 42”.
-MounƟng : Determined by site condiƟons. Can be top mounted or side mounted to steel, concrete or other substrate that meets loading requirements.

ASTM C1048, Fully Tempered, CondiƟon A, Type 1 (Transparent Flat Glass), Quality Q3. Products shall comply with properƟes indicated for class, thickness, and manufacturing process that have been tested for surface and edge compression according to ASTM C1048 and for impact strength according to 16 CFR 1201 for Category 2 materials.
