TREATED "ROUGH" LUMBER

We specialize in rough cut treated lumber, manufacturing many standard sizes and custom sizes to meet your project requirements.

FIRE RETARDANT LUMBER & PLYWOOD

When code and/or specifications call for fire retardant lumber, they typically indicate -- or intend to indicate -- pressure-impregnated fire retardant wood (not surface coatings). Fire retardant lumber is available for interior and exterior applications.

MARINE-TREATED WOOD FOR USE IN WATER

For a bulkhead or retaining wall that stands the test of time, apply our polymer coating to your rough treated lumber components. This special polymer wood coating defends treated wood from attacks by ships worms, barnacles, erosion, and even UV rays.It also prevents chemicals used for pressure treating from leaching from the wood – meaning the treatment stays in the lumber forever to protect and preserve it, while keeping chemicals out of the environment.

PRESSURE TREATMENTS

We specialize in treated lumber and structural wood products. We sell wood and pressure treated lumber products to your specifications and in accordance with national and local regulations. Most dimensional pressure treated lumber is treated to .25 or .40 pcf in ACQ. Larger dimensional lumber (2×8 and above) can be treated to .60 pcf with CCA but only for use in certain construction applications. We usually recommend .60 pcf (CCA) for freshwater use, ground contact, extreme weather conditions, or saltwater splash. .80 CCA for government specifications, and 2.5 pcf CCA for projects in saltwater.

LONG-LASTING TREATED WOOD PRODUCTS

Pressure treated wood is the most cost-effective building material available. It is long-lasting, has an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, and it is easily workable with standard tools and skills. Additionally, it is a completely renewable resource. In the United States, we grow much more lumber/wood than we use -- and those forests create oxygen and while reducing carbon dioxide in the air.
