VENEERED WOOD GRILL CEILING & WALL PANELS
The Veneered Wooden Grill system consists of wooden slats that are secured to each other with an aluminum dowel. These assembled slats form the grill panel, which can be produced in various lengths and widths.
A wide range of wood veneers is available, all with their own characteristics. The system is easy to install and allows the ceiling to be demountable and provides easy access to the plenum.
Due to the freedom of choosing your own grill dimensions, a unique ceiling or wall can be created.
WHY VENEERED WOOD GRILL?
Veneered Wood Grills are an environmental friendly building product with endless possibilities. The wood is used efficiently in the production of veneer, as modern production methods ensure that around 800-1000 m2 of veneer can be produced from 1 m3 of wood. The advantage of the system is that it is a made-to-measure solution, meaning no cutting adjustments are required at site, significantly reducing the installation time and cost.

VENEER MATCHING
The veneer sheets, with a width of 10-25 cm, are mis-matched and glued to form panels. Upon request it is also possible to slip-match or book-match sheets. Depending on how the veneers are matched, a significant design is created

DURABILITY
Wood Panels are extremely durable, veneered on both sides with a low formaldehyde chipboard, MDF or plywood core. The wood used to create Hunter Douglas panels originate exclusively from reforestation areas so the production places no strain on the environment as waste materials are recycled and used to generate energy
FIRE SAFETY
Wood Panels consist of a basic core with fire retardant qualities. Additional elements such as a fire retardant lacquer can be added during the manufacturing process to meet further safety requirements.

The look of the wood grills is created by a careful selection of the species type, colour and structure. The natural growth patterns of each tree can be clearly seen in the veneer, including natural characteristics such as knots and outgrowth. Once the veneer is chosen, the panels will be produced according to the lay out plan to ensure a perfect fit.
DIMENSIONS
The lengths of the elements are made to measure in order to prevent wastage and achieve a calm impression. The aim is to ensure the most efficient dimensions. To achieve ideal visibility of the wood slats, the height must be approximately the same dimension as the gap. The total weight of the element is a deciding factor for the panel length.

WALL FIXATION
The Veneered Wood Grills allow the designers to decide the grill dimension. The height of the grill slats is between 40 - 150mm, and the width between 17 - 32mm. The gap can be any size, but a common rule of thumb is that the gap between the slats does not exceed the slat height. The maximum length of the slat is 2780mm. Of course, other dimensions are available upon request. Optionally, the metal dowel can be replaced with a wooden backer, or a flexible dowel to created curved grills.
WALL SOLUTION
The installation of the Veneered Wood Grill wall panels is easily done, by clicking the dowel into the wall clips, which are mounted on a substructure or wall. The grills can be installed horizontally or vertically.

ACOUSTIC PERFORMANCE

REACTION TO FIRE
By impregnating wood, a reaction to fire classification (EN13501-1) of B-s2,d0 can be achieved. In some cases higher classifications can also be achieved.
FINISHES
WOOD SPECIES & FINISHES
From light to dark tones, there is a veneer for each design. Standard, the panels are provided with a transparent lacquer, but if a special look is required, special varnishes, staining or paint finishes are also possible.
