GLASS ROOF PR60 PASSIVHAUS

Shaping the future of sustainable construction with new technologies

The LAMILUX Glass Roof PR60 Passivhaus is the optimum, energy-efficient solution.

The product variant has an optimised insulation core and thereby offers better thermal separation. This is combined with a special edge seal which, in turn, thermally enhances the glazing.

As a result, our Glass Roof PR60 Passivhaus is the first inclined glazing in the world to have been certified for the highest Passivhaus efficiency class – “phA advanced component”.

In addition to the special heat insulation, the considerable air-tightness is a further advantage of this variant.

The ingenious combination of highly efficient materials and innovative production technology make this glass roof unique.

This can also be seen in the free shaping and freedom of design that are of course also fully present in the Passivhaus variant.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

COMFORT AND TECHNOLOGY

-The intelligent use of highly efficient materials limits the minimum surface temperature on the inside of glass constructions, thus preventing condensate and mould formation. -Mould grows on surfaces at a relative humidity of just 80 percent or higher. When the indoor temperature is 20°C and relative humidity is 50 percent (standard conditions), this corresponds to a surface temperature of 12.6 °C.

-Such data is used to calculate the fRsi-value, a coefficient that indicates the likelihood of mould growth. If this value is less than 0.7, there is a risk of mould formation. -For the Glass Roof PR60 Passivhaus this value is a stable 0.79. This corresponds to a minimum surface temperature of 14.8 °C, which is an ideal temperature to ensure comfort and energy savings.
