TIMBER PANELS WITH 100% FORM STABILITY
Gustafs Linear Ribs with a Fibre Reinforced Gypsum Core, in combination with our unique Capax installation system, guarantees real dimension stability, resulting in 100% straight aligned timber panels over their full lifetime, regardless humidity and temperature changes. It is a quality that is impossible to achieve with other core materials.
QUICK & CONCEALED INSTALLATION
CAPAX is our truly concealed installation system in aluminum which provides you a reliable, quick and cost saving work flow. The timber cladding panels and installation fixtures are designed as one system, warranting a perfect aligned result. No tools are needed to assemble the interlocking components. A demountable version is available. This will result in a beautiful wood slatted ceiling or wall installation.
TIMBER CLADDING PANELS WITH FIBRE REINFORCED GYPSUM
Gustafs’ timber acoustic panels for walls and ceilings are based on a fiber gypsum board that has unique qualities and creates many advantages. The fiber gypsum board constructed of highly compressed gypsum and cellulose fibers that provide good acoustic properties and high fire class B-s1, d0 without added chemicals or impregnations.
CURVED INSTALLATION
With Gustafs Linear systems it is extremely easy to create beautiful curved walls and ceilings, or curved intersections between walls and ceilings. Our standard CAPAX installation solutions allow you design with a radius of 0,3 meter or larger, both convex and concave.

Gustafs Linear Ribs, timber panels are based on a fibre reinforced gypsum core totaling 94% recycled materials of which 17% are post-consumer recycled.
MEASUREMENTS
We do have standard measurements on our timber acoustic panels, but we do not want to restrict you. Gustafs Linear Ribs can be customized, pre-fabricated according to your drawings.
ACOUSTICS
With a standard installation our timber acoustic panels gives a large open area of 24% which warrants for a good sound absorption. By increasing the installation interval even higher sound absorptions can easily be achieved.
FIRE CLASS
Gustafs Linear System, has in accordance with the Euroclass system, achieved classification B-s1,d0.
HIGH LEED & BREEAM SCORES
Gustafs products contain no added urea formaldehyde, they are produced with 100% renewable power and have an extremely high content of recycled materials.

RIB DESIGN
CUSTOMIZED STANDARD
The concept of the Gustafs Linear System is rather to be considered as a customized standard. Many parameters can be adjusted individually before losing the advantages of a standard solution.
You can vary the core, the veneer, the colour, the dimensions, open or closed gaps, coloured gaps. Gustafs timber cladding panels can also be used in curved installations. We can assist you with your design wishes and help provide the timber panel solution with your own personal touch.
The Gypsum core ribs are available in a multitude of thicknesses varying from 13 up to 74 mm and can be supplied in R or S design. The standard width is 38 mm. Using our standard installation method, the gap between the ribs is 12 mm. You can also combine different dimensions.
RIB-R / RIB-S
For ceiling use, the maximum thickness is 28 mm for a CC 50 mm.
HIGH IMPACT RIB (HIR)
For walls in tough environments like schools, restaurants, corridors and entrances, we have designed a particularly sturdy and more impact resistant rib with a unique sandwich core construction.
GUSTAFS D-LINE – INTEGRATED LED FIXTURES
Using our Capax installation system – Gustafs D-Line is our integrated recessed led lighting for ceiling installations. A solution that simplifies installation and are reliable, saves time and cost-saving – with matching dimensions and lengths.

SURFACE DESIGN – CREATE UNIQUE TIMBER PANELS
Gustafs Linear Rib System offers many possibilities to create environments with the highest demands for design and appearance.
We collaborate closely with architects and designers and are attentive to what lies in the future. Our design is constantly evolving as we develop different surfaces, such as veneer, textiles, metals, and colors. Choose your surface and desired top finish method to achieve an unique design.
WOOD VENEER – REAL WOOD SURFACES
We offer two choices of genuine wooden veneer, Nature And Gemini. Nature veneers have all the lively variations and character associated with each species whereas Gemini veneers offer an even colour tone and structure to achieve a more harmonious appearance.
Prior to delivery the timber panels are given a resilient and attractive surface finish. The finish is determined by the customer from a choice of lacquered, oiled, stained, pigmented or painted surface. Our lacquer is a 3-layer UV-cured process which is available in a range of gloss finishes.
LACQUERED VENEER
A clear lacquered finish is by far the most common maintenance-free and durable finish for wooden surfaces. Utilizing a multi-stage UV-lacquering process, our surface finish achieves these demands while aspiring to maintain technical aspects such as our fire retardation and environmental goals. Our lacquer is a multi-layer UV-cured process which is available in a range of gloss finishes.
LACQUERED VENEER – PIGMENTATION
A pigment can be used to change the colour tone of the veneer on Gustafs Ribs. We have developed a three stage scale of white pigment for veneers. Since various species react differently to the process we recommend a consultation before proceeding with surface finishing.
PAINTED VENEER
Among the many advantages of a Gustafs Ribs is its plane and even surface. This enables us to create a painted surface finish and at the same time keep the beautiful wooden structure on the surface. We can produce painted surfaces in a multitude of colors in accordance with for example NCS or RAL codes up to a gloss rate of 50.
OILED VENEER
Oiled Veneer top finish creates a matte and beautiful finish on wooden veneer. Contact us for advice and samples.
