GLT BLOCK TIMBER
GLT BLOCK TIMBER
A Strong Composite
Regarding the component width glued laminated timber offers limited possibilities - a fact which is due to the raw timber's limited width.
Particularly for those constructions which are under high static load the market standard widths often are insufficient. Therefore, we glue together timber construction parts and other composite sections to so-called blocks which we develop according to the individual project requirements in cooperation with our customers.
For the production of bigger component widths, we can glue together two or more glued laminated beams to a solid block. This is the classic method. Depending on the project and the respective component requirements we also produce sections made up from lamellas which are arranged in a staggered manner.
