Click-on Battens is a concealed fix linear feature battening system for acoustic walls and ceilings.
The system is comprised of profiled timber or aluminium battens, mounting tracks with factory fitted clips and acoustic backing.
HOW IT WORKS
Not your typical off the shelf product, our Click-on Batten system is a highly customisable, proprietary acoustic batten system. Famous for the unique patented clip connection, our Click-on Battens make installation fast and easy using either timber or aluminium battens in a range of sizes and profiles.
A specially designed groove in the back of the battens serves as the interface between the batten and clip. These clips are provided pre-fixed to mounting tracks according to your specification, which are quickly installed on-site before the battens are clicked into place.
FEATURES
UNIQUE CLICK-ON CONNECTION
Our patented Click-on connection produces a solid click when the battens engage with the mounting track clips. This push-fit connection results in a fast installation with completely concealed fixings. Clips are factory fitted and pre-spaced to a mounting track, with a variety available to suit your application’s substrate. The flexibility of our system allows for hatches and even hidden doors to be detailed without disturbing the linear textures of the feature wall or ceiling. The ends of battens are also covered, with a range of trims to suit.
SOLID TIMBER BATTENS IN A RANGE OF COATINGS
The texture, warmth and detail of natural timber brings so much value and beauty to a space, either on interiors or exteriors. Click-on Battens can be crafted from our range of species, including American Oak, Australian Ash and Spotted Gum. Our variety of coatings also ensures you achieve the perfect finish for your design.
REALISTIC WOOD FINISH ALUMINIUM BATTENS
We offer Wood Finish options across all aluminium batten profiles, providing a natural timber aesthetic while taking advantage of the strengths of aluminium, including Group 1 and non-combustible fire ratings. Wood Finish is the most realistic fire-rated alternative to natural timber, requiring little to no maintenance. So you can spend more time enjoying the warmth and beauty of timber without the worry of maintaining it.
CREATE CURVED TIMBER BATTENS
Our curved timber integration into our Click-on Batten system combines a simple, fast installation with either of our curving options – Steam Bending and Kerfing. Our curved timber manufacturing methods allow designers to create large scale curves in the beauty of natural timber. Seamless transitions between walls and ceilings provide a unique handcrafted aesthetic on a commercial scale. Our method provides a buildable, affordable solution for curved timber concepts.
