ARMOURCOAT ACOUSTIC PLASTER

Seamless Acoustic Plaster Ceiling

The Armourcoat Acoustic® Plaster System is designed to optimize the acoustics of interior spaces, such as concert halls, lecture theaters, hotels, restaurants and lobbies, reception areas, shopping malls and public interior spaces of all types.

The control of unwanted sound can create a more enjoyable experiene for building occupants and more pleasant environment for visitors. Reflected sound, or reverberation, is now a well-accepted, but negative, by-product of using hard interior surfaces like polished stone, or areas of glass.

Reflected sound waves can cause serious reductions in speech or amplified sound quality, which leads to an unpleasant experience for occupants of such spaces – both presenters and audiences.

The Armourcoat Acoustic® Plaster System can provide a solution to interior noise problems, and also provide an aesthetically pleasing seamless, joint-free finish over large expanses, including both flat and curved surfaces.

Quiet, Comfortable Interiors The Armourcoat Acoustic® Plaster System combines the well-known insulation and sound absorption performance of mineral fiber baseboard with an elegant marble plaster finish.

The finishing plaster is troweled on to provide a uniform seamless surface, yet it is thin enough to allow sound waves to pass through and be absorbed by the fibrous base layer underneath.Armourcoat Acoustic® Plaster System can be pigmented to a range of standard or custom colors.
