USE AND CARE
FIRST USE
Before moving furniture and décor onto your new floor, sweep, dust mop or vacuum the floor to remove loose dirt and grit. Then lightly damp mop with well wrung mop.
CLEANING DOS
Simply sweep or run a dry dust mop over it to get up the dirt, dust and grit. For a more thorough clean, we recommend Encore Care for Luxury Vinyl Flooring.
CLEANING DON’TS
Don’t use treated dust mops, they may leave a residue. Don’t use vacuums with rotating beater bars on hard surfaces. Stay away from steam mops. Avoid using mop and shine products.
TRIM & TRANSITIONS
BABY THRESHOLD
This is used to transition from hard surface floors to floors of a different height level.
FLUSH STAIR NOSE
This is used when installing COREtec on stairs, providing the finishing touch to the outside stair edge.
OVERLAP REDUCER
This is used to transition from a higher-profile floor to a lower-profile floor.
TRANSITION MOLDING
A T-shaped transition piece that covers the narrow gap in a doorway between two adjacent floors that are on the same level.
REDUCER (METAL)
Ensures a smooth transition between 2 different types of flooring. Measure & trim to fit. Affix molding using adhesive, screws or nails. Follow adhesive manufacturer’s instructions completely
SQUARE CAP (METAL)
Used when your hardwood flooring meets other floor coverings, such as vinyl, thin ceramic tile or low-pile carpeting. Measure & trim to fit. Affix molding using adhesive, screws or nails. Follow adhesive manufacturer’s instructions completely.
T-MOLD (METAL)
Provides smooth transition between adjoining floors and bridges gap between similar height floors Measure & trim to fit. Affix molding using adhesive, screws or nails. Follow adhesive manufacturer’s instructions completely
